The following HIKES have been reviewed in our blog. Just click on the name of the HIKE to be taken directly to our blog post in order to learn more about the hike and what the area has to offer.
The list is first divided alphabetically by state and then by city. Destinations in another town but within 60 miles of a city or major metropolitan area will be listed under that city/area. This will let you know what hikes you can take while in that particular area. Anything farther than that will have its own listing.

PORTLAND, OREGON:
TRAIL NAME: Scouter’s Mountain Trail
LOCATION: Happy Valley, OR
LENGTH: 1.2 mile / loop
DIFFICULTY: Easy
DESCRIPTION: Terrific trail for the whole family! This easy 1.2 mile loop takes you through shady, wooded areas and past a wonderful view of Mt. Hood in the distance.

TRAIL NAME: Doetsch Walking Path
LOCATION: Beacon Rock State Park, Skamania, WA
LENGTH: 1.2 mile / loop
DIFFICULTY: Easy
DESCRIPTION: This easy 1.2 mile loop trail was once a ranch belonging to the Doetsch family. The paved loop travels through old pastureland and along the Columbia River with sweeping views of nearby mountains. There are several interpretive signs along the way, as well as benches for enjoying the views and wild blackberries, if you’re there the right time of the year. (We were and yes, I ate blackberries.) Pets on leash welcome.
