“One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.”                                                                                                                                                      –   Luciano Pavarotti

So true – and out here, living our life on the road, eating, and more specifically where and what we eat, has changed quite a bit from the meals that we planned and prepared when we lived in a sticks and bricks house.

We surprisingly eat at home more often than you would think – mainly due to the wider varieties of foods available to us in our travels.

And when we do eat out, it’s often a food adventure to try restaurants that are unique to the region or that we’ve heard about from friends, seen reviewed on television or learned about in some other way in the course of our travels.

As food has become an integral part of our traveling experience, we will share some recipes from the road, meals and snacks we have enjoyed, as well as some of our more memorable dining experiences – broken down by region according to the map below.

If you are planning a trip to a specific region of the USA – simply refer to that tab in the menu and see what food adventures in that area we have enjoyed!  And always remember …
