Artists on the Road

Artists on the Road

One of my favorite things about living this “wandering” lifestyle is all of the musicians and artists that we are fortunate enough to encounter.  Sometimes we run into these special people while out exploring our new community, but often we find them right under our noses, in our own RV Park!  Upon registration, it is not uncommon to be handed a schedule of events or activities that take place right there in the park!

What to do and when to do it!

While in Nashville, Tennessee, our park offered a variety of live music every Wednesday through Sunday night.  While in Tucson, Arizona for the winter, our park offered jewelry making classes once a week, painting classes on occasion, and live acoustic blues every Thursday night.  Our friends staying at another park told us about woodworking classes that were offered at their park.  And while in South Texas everyone was invited to join a weekly sewing/quilting class.

And since we truly love music and art, we generally seek out this sort of thing while exploring what a city has to offer too.  We frequent art museums and especially love contemporary crafts.  And we have a very hard time passing up any place where live music is wafting out onto the sidewalk.

So, explore the Art and Music tabs, where we will feature artists and musicians who have intrigued us, enlightened us, or just simply entertained us!  Hope you ENJOY ….
